Snow Day! Snow Angels!

A snow storm rolled into Indiana overnight on Sunday. On Monday morning, I was not surprised to see that the school district had delayed and then cancelled school. It's a bit of a rural community and those country roads aren't on the first list of those to be plowed. Not an awesome drive home from work for me, but not too bad, and I even stopped to get milk and donuts. When I got home, Marcus and Cale were outside, loving the snow drift that the wind had created right outside our patio door. The rest of the yard, not so covered. In fact, you can see the grass poking through the snow in the rest of the yard. I guess maybe we got 3-4 inches of snow overall. And the boys got a snow day. Bonus. Ewan got a day off from preschool too. They had a two hour delay, but Andy did not want to drive all the way to preschool for a shortened class. Ewan didn't complain. We let him open the present we had gotten for his preschool gift exchange. Playdoh and chocolate can do a lot to make small people happy. :-)
