after it rained

I'm pretty sure that these photos do not need a caption.  Let's just say it rained a lot the other day and the kids were excited when the sun came out.

the scooby gang

Ewan has a little group of friends he is almost always with.  I like to call them the "scooby gang".  They range in age 4 to 6.  Two of them are in kindergarten and two in preschool.  They play together, they fight together.  They wander in and out of each other's houses all the time.  Ewan tries to direct the play of the group most of the time.  And, most of the time, they let him. 

What I was going to do was take a picture of Ewan laying in this box.  I think he said he was a cat.  But, all the kids wanted their picture taken.  I thnk they were all pretending to be cats.  So here they are:  Abby, Ewan, Nate and Delaney.

I did manage a close-up of Ewan.  That little guy curled up to fit into this box.  He is too flexible!

of course we did an Easter egg hunt

Our spring break week started off with an impromptu run to an Easter egg hunt at at nearby park.  Our neighbors were going and Andy took any of the boys who wanted to go.  Of course, Cale wanted to go-the chance to get some candy is very exciting.  Ewan went also-he got to ride with our nieghbors-probably the part he was most excited about.  Sounds like it was pretty crazy.  They had areas for different ages, but Andy kept Cale and Ewan together in the same area.  I think Marcus went too, to view the action.

They had some fun and brought home candy to share with everyone.
