We had our first "good" snowfall of the season on Friday night-Saturday morning! The boys were excited to be able to play in the snow. First, we had to make sure we had the correct size snow clothing. That involved a trip to the store where I suffered from sticker-shock buying new boots for Marcus. We got them a size bigger than he needed, so hopefully he can use them next year, too. We also had to get a bigger size snow pant for Cale. As soon as we got back, the boys were out the door....

...to make some snow angels...

...to play with the sleds. Not actually sledding, mostly filling them up with snow and dragging them around the yard....

...for some reason, you go faster on a cold slide in your snowpants...

...to make giant snowballs...or the start of a snowman....

...and to eat snow, which Ewan did as soon as he got outdoors. Thank goodness it was fresh, "new-fallen" snow.
