Marcus Andrew turned 9 years old on July 7th. He was pretty excited for his birthday to come. He told me a couple days before his birthday, that he was excited that on his birthday, there would be balloons in his room on his birthday morning. He was also excited to open the birthday cards that he got in the mail, not to mention presents.
Marcus requested Chinese food for dinner. Yum! Sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoon, lo mein.
Cake by Mom. What is lacks in detail it makes up for in the amount of frosting I put on it. Sugar rush anyone?
Present time! Marcus tried to guess what his presents were by closing his eyes and feeling the packaging. He got a couple toys that spin and shoot out an animal...
...and some pokemon cards. We need to order the DS game we were going to get him. Apparently, pokemon are still very popular. Marcus understood.

Marcus at 9 years old is a sweet, kind boy. He wants to do what is right and tries to be the mediator with his brothers. He loves basketball, playing his DS, and reading the Percy Jackson series. He is a son that I can trust will do what I ask and is a good helper and big brother. I love him so much and am so thankful we were blessed with him as our boy!
