the day it snowed

It snowed just 1 day over Christmas break. The boys were so excited that they were out the door as soon as breakfast was over. They actually played outside twice, coming in for a warm-up. The snow didn't last, the next day it warmed to the 40's and the snow melted away.

Kella stayed in and looked pretty.

The boys started with some snowball throwing.  The snow was perfect packing snow.

Ewan had his snack outside.

They worked on rolling some huge snowballs until the snowballs were too heavy to move.

Orange complained that he couldn't go out.  But, once he had the chance, he realized it was too cold for his indoor cat blood.

Another big snowball.  Those stuck around for a couple of days after all the other snow melted.

Liam wanted his snowpants and boots on, too. I thought he would go outside to play, turns out he just wanted to wear them.  He wore this all morning and called himself  "Mario" (like in nintendo :-) ).
